Sustainability Policy
INTRODUCTION
“We shape plastic” is the message that ERREBI has chosen to define its business model.
Founded in 1978, the company carries out the molding of technical plastic items at its 5,000 sqm plant in Caerano San Marco (TV).
The strengths of the organization are the competence and professionalism of its staff, the design and quality office, the mold workshop, the molding department with single and bi-injection presses, a vast range of auxiliary equipment, welding technologies (hot blade and ultrasound), and cutting-edge machinery.
The company's philosophy aims to meet the most advanced customer needs, also through a co-design approach, in which designers act as a bridge between customer requirements and the specificities of the production structure, ensuring a high standard of product quality.
Today, ERREBI is aware that sustainability represents the framework within which it will increasingly have to operate in the near future, especially as a significant player in various business sectors: automotive, industrial, gardening, household goods, sports, appliances, and furniture.
For this reason, it has drafted this sustainability policy with the aim of defining an initial reference path in this direction.
1) PURPOSE OF THE POLICY
The purpose of this sustainability policy is to define at every organizational level the priorities and areas of commitment of ERREBI towards its stakeholders. The policy aims to interact responsibly with all stakeholders who engage with the company, whose continuous dialogue helps define and strengthen the principles for responsible management of activities for all those who collaborate within it.

This policy applies to the plant in Caerano San Marco (TV).
3) REGULATORY FRAMEWORK
ERREBI's policy aims to define the guidelines and guiding principles of its sustainability strategy.
For this reason, it adheres to and is inspired by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda, focusing in particular on:
- Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being: In addition to complying with legal regulations, ERREBI pursues the continuous improvement of health and safety protection for its employees, paying particular attention to compliance with safety measures and investing in a work environment that enhances well-being.
- Goal 4 – Quality Education: Technical and quality skills are constantly updated. The company is investing in a training program on sustainability topics.
- Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: Economic stability is ensured by the continuous verification of the adequacy of company policies with actual customer and market needs, as well as through the development of trusted relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production: ERREBI is engaged in significant projects aimed at both improving energy efficiency in its production processes and enhancing the management and control of plastic material waste, in line with a circular economy approach.

7) ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
ERREBI's management is aware that business activities must be directed toward continuous improvement in sustainability, maintaining a balanced approach to social, environmental, and economic responsibility.
The company is particularly committed to managing environmental issues by pursuing significant objectives, directly involving all employees.
Environmental commitment is reflected in an integrated approach that includes:
a) Environmental Management System (EMS): designed and implemented in 2022, recognized with ISO 14001 certification.
The system provides a voluntary framework for integrating environmental management practices, helping the company identify potential environmental risks and establish rapid and effective responses to possible emergencies.
A second benefit has been the awareness of responsible resource use, aligning with the socio-economic context and complying with applicable environmental regulations.
The company has engaged all employees in this process, promoting environmental awareness and responsibility in minimizing risks and impacts.
b) Waste Management: Over the years, the company has developed a strong awareness focused on waste reduction.
All employees have been trained and sensitized to this issue, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 12.
Daily waste management involves employees in recycling processes, reinforcing responsible business practices.
Regarding production waste, particular attention is given to controlling plastic material scraps, aiming for total recovery in the product cycle within a circular economy framework.
Based on assessments, the company recovers 83% of waste, while 17% is disposed of with energy recovery.
c) Objectives for 2023/24: For the upcoming biennium, ERREBI has set two key objectives: waste management and water consumption reduction.
The project will enable the company to recover and reuse:
– Cooling system liquid, separating and reintegrating it into the production cycle to avoid disposal.
– Condensation from compressed air systems, which, once separated and purified from oils, can be reused, allowing the company to recover nearly all 6,000 liters per year currently drawn from the water supply.
d) Packaging: ERREBI is developing awareness of the need to reduce environmental impacts related to packaging and plans to raise customer awareness in this regard.
The company is exploring alternative material solutions for packaging while maintaining quality.
For storage and shipping, ERREBI participates in a circular pooling system for wooden pallet recycling.
e) Energy Consumption Reduction: As an energy-intensive company, ERREBI has been preparing its energy balance within legal deadlines for years.
The management has taken steps such as installing photovoltaic systems on both company buildings.
Additionally, in 2022, energy consumption was monitored to define a medium-term efficiency plan, including evaluating potential upgrades to production equipment.
f) Transport Optimization: To minimize environmental impact, ERREBI optimizes deliveries by consolidating shipments to local customers on a single day and ensuring full truckloads.
g) Supplier Audits: The company prefers long-term suppliers who guarantee reliability, flexibility, punctuality, and quality.
In the coming biennium, ERREBI will conduct a supplier survey to assess their environmental and social practices.
8) SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
ERREBI is committed to continuously improving:
- Health and safety protection and employee well-being.
- Continuous skills development.
- Workplace improvements, including the creation of a canteen for daytime workers.
The company also supports local sports and social initiatives.
9) APPROVAL AND IMPLEMENTATION
This policy has been approved by the company management and will be reviewed annually or whenever modifications are necessary.
