Sustainability
Environment: A shared responsibility
ERREBI works hard to make continuous improvement, with a strong focus on sustainability and on balancing social, environmental and economic responsibility.
ERREBI is highly sensitive to these issues and ensures all its employees are directly involved.
Errebi’s environmental focus is an organic approach that includes:
ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System (EMS)
This system provides a voluntary framework for integrating environmental management practices, which the company has used to identify potential environmental risks and establish a rapid and effective response to any emergency situations.
A second benefit is the company’s growing awareness of responsible use of natural resources, consistent with local socio-economic needs, and in compliance with applicable mandatory and voluntary environmental regulations.
Waste management
For production process waste, Errebi pays special attention to controlling plastic material production waste, aiming to recover and reuse all of it in the product cycle, in a logic of circular economy.
Packaging with a low environmental impact
We are always working to develop alternative packaging solutions while preserving quality.
Lowering energy consumption
The company is constantly and continuously evolving to improve its energy performance, equipping itself with state-of-the-art technologies and tools.
Optimising transport
To minimise our environmental impacts, and with no current alternatives to road transport, we group deliveries to ensure our carriers deliver to customers located near each other in a single day, and we make sure every truck leaves our premises fully loaded.
We are working to reduce our impact on the environment through careful delivery planning, and with the collaboration of our large customers.
Suppliers
ERREBI works more closely with suppliers that demonstrate attention to environmental and labour issues.
Labour sustainability
When it comes to our employees, we strive for continuous improvement in:
01.
protecting their health and safety, and safeguarding their well-being;
02.
continuously updating their skills;
03.
improving working conditions and creating a company canteen.
